Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit
Your oyster mushroom grow kit is ready to fruit! If you inspect the bag closely, you’ll notice several holes poked in the sides. These holes are where your mushrooms will appear!
Simply spray the block at least twice a day and mushrooms should appear within 1-2 weeks.
If the environment where you’re growing the kit is particularly dry, you may want to create a small “humidity tent” for your mushrooms by placing a shopping bag over the block. Make sure to remove the bag and spray several times a day, as oyster mushrooms need plenty of oxygen to grow.
When in doubt, we recommend allowing your mushrooms to grow without a humidity tent, as long as your growing environment has at least 30-40% humidity. You may want to pick the mushrooms slightly earlier, but you’ll have a better chance of larger caps and less risk of “stringy” mushrooms with small caps, which can result if too much CO2 develops inside the tent.
